PRE-JUNIOR LIFEGUARD TRAINING AT BYRON LAKE POOL IS NOW OPEN FOR REGISTRATION!

At Open Water Swim, our mission is to promote the sport of swimming through fun and engaging programs like Pre-Jr. Lifeguards. We provide a supportive and inclusive community for swimmers of all ages and abilities. We believe that swimming is a lifelong skill that can improve physical and mental health, and we strive to make it accessible to everyone.

Our coaches are certified Lifeguards and FIJL coaches. They are experienced and passionate about helping our young students with the fundamental skills of lifeguarding while getting them comfortable and more confident in the water. We provide group and one-on- one personalized instruction and encouragement. Kids love it!

OWS Fire Island Junior Lifeguard coaches will be conducting the training. Training will include lifesaving instruction, first aid, cpr and rescues.

Your children will gain more confidence in the water and learn skills that will create the foundation for their future lifeguarding journey.
