Open to youth ages 8-16 years of age. The course will teach water safety, introduce participants to the duties and responsibilities of an ocean lifeguard, practice life saving techniques, identify dangerous water conditions, learn to use rescue equipment, and participate in friendly competitions.
Participants will take the 7am Ferry from Bay Shore Maple Avenue to Atlantique and the 9:50am Ferry back to Bay Shore. Ferry Tickets are NOT provided with this program. Thanks to the generosity of the FI Ferries all participants will receive one flat rate of $11 RT ($5.50 one way).
